Five individuals who were stranded in the Samaradai River near Kedar Kui village have been safely rescued.
The group was returning to their village, Kedar Kui, after medical treatment when they became trapped as the river’s water level rapidly rose during their crossing.
The rescue was led by Shahabad CEO Richpal Meena, the Kelwada police station officer, and the SDRF team, who conducted the operation from 300 meters away in the river.
The rescue mission proved difficult due to the strong currents and low visibility. Local residents have expressed their gratitude towards the police and administration for their successful efforts.
