Rajya Sabha BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi has recently targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav for allegedly strengthening the position of criminals in UP on Tuesday.
Taking a jab at them, Trivedi in hindi said ‘Jo chunav ke same kehte thay do ladke, un lakdon ke saath jo log hain wo galti nahi apraad kar rahe hain. Aur jab se ye do ladkon ki taqat bhadi hai, tab se apradiyon ki himat aur himaqat bhi usi anupat mein bhadti hui nazar aarahi hai.’
Further, he also alleged that the SP is not only offering ‘cover’ for criminals but also that members of the opposition INDIA bloc are collaborating to protect the criminal elements within their alliance partners.
He also made a pointed remark about the regional party’s call for DNA testing to prove the guilt of the accused in one of the cases, asserting that it is in the Samajwadi Party’s DNA to support criminals.

Later in press conference, Trivedi emphasized the importance of a thoughtful and honest discussion on these issues, urging all parties to prioritize justice above political alliances.
