In his letter, Marwah emphasized the importance of mutual respect and harmony during the festive season. He stated, “As we approach Navratri and Eid, it is crucial to ensure that celebrations take place with respect and unity. I urge your esteemed office to issue guidance for shopkeepers across Delhi to display nameplates at their establishments. This will enable citizens to make informed choices while purchasing sacred items, preserving the sanctity of their rituals and beliefs.”
Highlighting the benefits of such a measure, Marwah underscored that it would promote transparency and foster communal harmony. He further asserted that the Chief Minister’s intervention could help prevent misunderstandings and contribute to a smooth festive atmosphere in the capital.
