Women and Children’s Affairs Minister Smriti Irani attacked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for attacking Narendra Modi during the decade-long UPA rule (Narendra Modi) and discussed the government’s “difference”.
Speaking at the ‘Namo Yuva Maha Sammelan’ event organized by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha in Nagpur on Monday, Smriti paid tribute to Rahul Gandhi and found it difficult to talk about the achievements and administrative differences between the UPA and the NDA.
“If my voice reaches Rahul Gandhi, he too should listen and listen. Let’s talk to you about the difference between (UPA) 10 years and Modi’s 10 years,” he said.
Irani’s challenge Rahul Gandhi said that if he is asked to participate in the debate, it will not happen. He expressed confidence that he would not be able to stand up to an ordinary BJP worker.
“I guarantee that even if an ordinary worker from Yuva Morcha starts speaking in front of Rahul Gandhi, he will lose his ability to speak,” he said.
The Prime Minister also said that, as stated in the meeting, the BJP has fulfilled the three important promises it made to the public in the last decade. These include the abrogation of Article 370, which ended Jammu and Kashmir’s special status, women’s reservation in the legislature and the construction of the Ram temple.
Given the challenge to Rahul Gandhi, Irani has challenged him to choose the center of the debate and the BJP will choose a party worker to represent them.
Addressing the audience at the event, he praised the BJP-led NDA government for implementing welfare measures such as opening bank accounts for the poor, building toilets for families and distributing free food to 800 million people, and 33% reservation for women is being introduced.
Smriti Irani added that all Yuva Morcha workers are capable of defeating Rahul Gandhi in the debate and said that the party is confident in the abilities of its core members.
Criticizing Rahul Gandhi, Irani said that he was not present at the ‘pran pratishtha’ (dedication) ceremony at the Ram Lalla statue and although he was invited, he did not attend by showing pride and pride. .
The challenge raised by Smriti Irani illustrates the politics of the BJP and the Congress and sets the stage for a debate that could prove their governing record. .
