Subramanian Swamy Takes A Dig At PM Narendra Modi Amid ISIS Terror Attack In Moscow: “Micro Managing Backfires”

Subramanian Swamy, a politician and former Union Law Minister of India, took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to criticize Prime Minister Narendra Modi for what he perceives as excessive micromanagement of the country. Swamy cited the recent ISIS-claimed attack in Moscow as evidence of the potential consequences of micromanagement, suggesting that such an approach can backfire.

In his tweet, Swamy highlighted the attack in Moscow, where gunmen opened fire in a concert hall, resulting in numerous casualties. He pointed out that despite Russia being under the supposed micromanagement of President Putin, ISIS operatives were able to carry out the attack without being apprehended. Swamy urged Modi to “wake up” to the potential pitfalls of micromanagement.

The attack in Moscow occurred at the Crocus City Hall, where gunmen dressed in camouflage began shooting at attendees and reportedly threw grenades or incendiary bombs. The incident resulted in a significant loss of life and injuries.

According to international reports, attendees at the concert by Piknic in Moscow were caught off guard by the sudden gunfire, prompting many to seek refuge behind seats or rush towards exits in an attempt to escape the attackers.

The Islamic State (ISIS) claimed responsibility for the attack through a statement released by an ISIS-affiliated news agency, Amaq, on the messaging app Telegram.
