Supreme Court Calls Out States for Inaction on Air Pollution in Delhi

In a recent ruling, the Supreme Court highlighted the lack of proactive measures taken by Punjab and Haryana to address the alarming air pollution levels in Delhi. The court has mandated that both states submit an affidavit explaining their failure to involve the necessary commission in tackling this pressing issue. Additionally, Punjab is required to provide details regarding its proposal for funding aimed at combating the pollution crisis.
