‘Those stained with corruption are uniting,’ says PM Modi from election-bound Chhattisgarh, criticising Congress

On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi intensified his criticism of the Congress party while speaking in the election-bound state of Chhattisgarh. In clear reference to the Congress, Prime Minister Modi said during his speech at a Vijay Sankalp Rally in the capital of Chhattisgarh, Raipur, that those who are tarnished by corruption are attempting to bind the opposition together. Today, those who are soiled are attempting to unite. Those who once cursed at one another have now begun looking for reasons to get together, according to PM Modi. Continuing, he added that if Congress is the guarantee of corruption, Modi is the guarantee of action against corruption.
“This country’s corrupt individuals should all pay close attention to one thing. Modi is the guarantee of action against corruption if the Congress is the guarantee of corruption. “These people will hunt me down, threaten to bury me, and plan shady schemes to harm me.” They are unaware, though, that Modi cannot be the one who is frightened. Additionally, the Congress party’s leadership is corrupt, he said. In the absence of corruption, Congress cannot even function. One of Congress’ main ideologies is corruption.
The BJP is currently in opposition in Chhattisgarh, one of the states that will hold assembly elections later this year. Rajasthan, Telangana, Mizoram, and Madhya Pradesh make up the remaining four states. In particular, he compared the Congress party in Chhattisgarh to an ATM. “Chhattisgarh is like an ATM for the Congress party,” he declared. PM Modi claimed that the Congress party has acted as a barrier to Chhattisgarh’s development, alluding to its logo as a “big claw” in his remark. “This is the claw of Congress, grabbing your freedom away from you. This claw has made up its mind to plunder and devastate Chhattisgarh. “The state of Chhattisgarh was created with significant assistance from the BJP.
The people of Chhattisgarh are only understood and their needs are only known by the BJP. Here, projects worth over Rs 7,000 crore have been officially launched and their foundations laid today. He delivered a speech at the rally during which he offered his condolences to the families of the three attendees who died this morning while travelling to the event. A tragic bus accident this morning claimed the lives of three residents of Chhattisgarh who were travelling to Raipur for a rally. The treatment of those who have been injured is receiving all available assistance, Prime Minister Modi said, paying tribute to those who have passed away. In Raipur, Chhattisgarh, earlier that day, Prime Minister Modi dedicated and opened eight projects totalling more than Rs 7,000 crore.
The foundation stone for five National Highway projects totalling about Rs 6,400 crores was laid by the Prime Minister. The 33 km long 4-lining of the Raipur to Kodebod section of the Jabalpur-Jagdalpur National Highway is one of the projects that was dedicated. The 53 km long, 4-lane Bilaspur-Pathrapali stretch of NH-130 from Bilaspur to Ambikapur was dedicated to the nation by the prime minister. The Prime Minister also laid the cornerstone for three National Highway projects for the 6-lane Greenfield Raipur-Visakhapatnam corridor’s Chhattisgarh section. Among them is the construction of the 57 km long, six-lane Sargi-Basanwahi section on NH 130 CD, the 25 km long, six-lane Basanwahi-Marangpuri section of NH-130 CD, and the 43 km long, six-lane Jhanki-Sargi section on NH 130 CD.
Under the Ayushman Bharat programme, PM Modi distributed 75 lakh cards to recipients. According to the PM, the Mudra Yojna has provided assistance totalling Rs 40,000 crore to young people in Chhattisgarh.
