Time machine Turns You 25 Again! Kanpur Couple Dupes Dozens in Rs 35 Crore Scam

‘Age reversing Israeli time Machine’ that reverses your age. Would you believe in it? well dozens of people did and got scammed. A couple from Kanpur managed to scam over two dozen people capitalizing on their insecurities. They promised to turn them young again, using an ‘unique and bizarre time machine. People waiting for any miracles were left in disappointment costing them a huge sum of money.

Here’s how?

Rajeev and Rashmi Dubey allegedly convinced their victims, mostly elderly individuals, that their miraculous machine could make them look younger through something called ‘oxygen therapy’. This fantasy cost the victims a staggering Rs 35 crore in total.

The Dubey couple set up a therapy centre called Revival World in Kanpur’s Kidwai Nagar. Here, they claimed that pollution in the city was causing people to age faster, but their imported machine could undo the damage.

According to their pitch, their ‘oxygen therapy’ sessions could transform a 60-year-old into someone as youthful as a 25-year-old!

The cost of this miracle cure? Packages starting at Rs 6,000, going up to Rs 90,000 for a three-year ‘reward system’. The couple even encouraged clients to bring in new recruits by offering discounts for each referral, hinting at a pyramid scheme in the making.

How Did They Got exposed?

Three of their clients, now victims filed a complaint with the local authorities, including one woman who claimed she was defrauded of Rs 10.75 lakh. Reports suggest that hundreds of people may have fallen for the scam, costing them losses of nearly Rs 35 crore.

ACP Anjali Vishwakarma explained that the couple used a referral scheme to lure more people into the scam, but no one ever saw the promised results.

Kanpur police have since registered a case of fraud against the couple. They have not been arrested yet and are reported to have fled the country. DCP Ankita Sharma confirmed that investigations are ongoing, and more victims are expected to come forward.
