Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has assured a comprehensive investigation into the alleged fake recruitment scam in Rajasthan. Speaking to the media, Shekhawat emphasized the urgency of addressing the paper leak and employment obtained through unfair means, affirming the commitment of the state government to pursue the matter rigorously.
“We are at the initial stages of the investigation and have initiated inquiries with the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) and various political figures. It is imperative to unveil all involved parties, and we anticipate revealing further details soon,” stated Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
Highlighting the gravity of the situation, Shekhawat emphasized that not only individuals involved in the paper leak but also those unlawfully recruited will face consequences. He urged vigilance in monitoring the unfolding developments of the scam.
Earlier this week, Rajasthan Police detained fifteen trainee sub-inspectors, including the top scorer of the 2021 recruitment exam, for allegedly securing their positions through unfair means. The arrests came amidst accusations of utilizing leaked question papers and engaging substitute candidates in the examination process.
In response to the escalating situation, the Rajasthan Police has taken decisive action, establishing a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to combat paper leaks. Additionally, a helpline number, 9530429258, has been provided to facilitate reporting of related incidents.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma also took to social media to address the issue, affirming the government’s commitment to tackling paper leaks and heralding the successes achieved by the newly formed SIT.
As investigations progress, authorities remain steadfast in their determination to uphold the integrity of recruitment processes and hold accountable those responsible for perpetrating fraudulent practices in securing employment opportunities.
