In a tragic incident, a young UPSC aspirant named Ashish Kumar ended his life in Lucknow. The victim had allegedly been harassed by the police and had named three cops in his suicide note.

According to reports, Ashish Kumar was a resident of Lakhimpur Kheri and had come to Lucknow to prepare for the UPSC exams. However, he had been facing harassment from the police for the past few weeks.

The victim had reportedly been stopped several times by the police, who demanded money from him. They had also threatened to implicate him in false cases if he did not comply with their demands.

Ashish Kumar had been struggling to cope with the constant harassment and had even complained to senior officials, but to no avail. In his suicide note, he had named three police officers who had been harassing him.

The incident has once again highlighted the issue of police brutality and corruption in Uttar Pradesh. Despite several measures taken by the government to curb such instances, there seems to be no end to the problem.
