Following Manish Sisodia’s release from Tihar jail after 17 months, Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Atishi Marlena visited Rajkiya Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya school on Tuesday.
According to visuals, Manish Sisodia was welcomed with chants of “Good morning, sir.” After interacting with the students, the children of Bal Vidyalaya tied Rakhi to both Manish Sisodia and Atishi Marlena.

Earlier on August 9, the supreme court granted bail to Delhi’s deputy CM Manish Sisodia on excise policy case. Thus, reversing the Delhi High Court’s decision of May 21, stating ‘Appeal allowed. Delhi High Court order is quashed and set aside. He is granted bail in both ED and CBI cases.’
Further, the court also noted that denying bail cannot serve as a form of punishment.
