Amid the ongoing political rallies in Maharashtra, Union Minister Amit Shah’s bag was checked at Hingoli. Responding to the incident, Shah shared his thoughts on X, stating, “The Election Commission has been conducting checks on the belongings of leaders involved in assembly election campaigns. Previously, EC officials also inspected the bags and helicopters of Uddhav Thackeray and Devendra Fadnavis.”
He further added, “The BJP is committed to fair elections and a robust electoral process, strictly adhering to the rules set by the Honourable Election Commission.” Shah emphasized the importance of collective responsibility, saying, “It is our duty to contribute to a transparent election system and work towards ensuring India remains the strongest democracy in the world.”
