Woman Lands In Trouble After Submitting Fraudulent Documents To Obtain US Visa

Delhi Police has registered a case against a woman for trying to obtain a US visa using “fraudulent documents” and started probing the matter. The US Embassy in India, in its complaint to the Delhi Police on Wednesday, alleged that a woman named Jashandeep Kaur, a resident of Punjab, applied for a non-immigrant visa.

She claimed in her online visa application that she was employed as an Administrative Assistant with Kapoor Associates in Haryana from October 19, 2020, to July 31, 2022.

But, during the interview with the US Embassy officials, the accused admitted that had never worked for Kapoor Associates and got the fraudulent documents from another accused named Jaswant Singh, who is her father’s friend.
