On Saturday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will make a significant visit to Prayagraj, also known as Mahakumbh Nagar, to review the preparations for the upcoming Mahakumbh-2025. This extensive visit will span over five hours, during which the CM will hold important meetings with senior officials from various departments at the Circuit House. The main agenda of the discussions will include the review of ongoing preparations and the planning for the grand event, which is set to begin on January 13, 2025. Additionally, the CM will focus on the proposed visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is expected to formally inaugurate the Mahakumbh-2025 on December 13. This visit by the Prime Minister is anticipated to mark a historic moment for the state and the Kumbh Mela traditions.

Detailed Schedule and Planned Activities in Prayagraj

CM Yogi Adityanath’s visit to Prayagraj will follow a meticulously planned schedule. He will arrive at the Police Line helipad at 1:00 pm after flying in from Varanasi. From the helipad, he will proceed to the Circuit House, where from 1:40 pm to 2:40 pm, he will discuss the preparations for Mahakumbh-2025 with top officials. Following this, from 3:35 pm to 4:00 pm, CM Yogi Adityanath will address the police personnel at the Parade Police Line, emphasizing the importance of security measures and coordination for the successful organization of the event.

In addition to official meetings and inspections, the CM will also meet with the seers at the temporary office of the Prayagraj Mela Authority between 4:05 pm and 4:50 pm. These interactions with religious leaders and saints from various Akharas are essential, as the Mahakumbh is not only a spiritual event but also an important cultural and religious gathering for Hindus across the globe.

Following this, the CM will proceed to Naini STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) between 5:25 pm and 5:30 pm to ensure that sanitation facilities are up to standard for the large influx of visitors. He will then visit Shivalik Park in Naini from 5:40 pm to 5:45 pm to inspect the park’s readiness to accommodate pilgrims and tourists during the Mahakumbh.
