The survey found that Maui received approximately 34% of the votes, narrowly surpassing Paris, which garnered 33% of the votes.

While Paris remains a popular destination, it is no longer the leading choice for romance. The survey indicates that a significant portion of respondents now prefer smaller, less-known destinations. The survey also uncovered that 69% of respondents feel more romantic while on vacation compared to their daily lives. Activities like romantic beach walks, watching sunsets, and holding hands are common among couples. Additionally, 76% of participants view vacationing together as a serious step in their relationship, and 72% find spontaneous couple vacations particularly alluring.

Michael Lowery, Head of Global Consumer Business at Funjet Vacations, recommended including activities such as yoga, snorkeling, and cooking classes to enhance bonding and create memorable experiences.
