Congress Releases Manifesto, Announces Five Key Guarantees for Delhi Voters
On Wednesday, the Congress party unveiled its manifesto for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, outlining a series of promises aimed at benefiting the city's residents. Among the key proposals, Congress has pledged to provide Rs 2,500 per month to women, as well as free electricity for up to 300 units.
Additionally, the party has committed to offering free healthcare treatment up to Rs 25 lakh for all Delhiites. In an effort to attract youth voters, Congress has promised a one-year apprenticeship program in both the public and private sectors, during which young professionals will receive a stipend of Rs 8,500 per month.
The party has also promised to provide subsidized LPG cylinders at Rs 500. Families in Delhi will be given a free ration kit, including 2 kg of sugar, 1 kg of cooking oil, 6 kg of pulses, and 250 grams of tea leaves, if Congress comes to power.

Delhi Police Seizes ₹1.5 Crore in Cash, Arrests Bootleggers Ahead of Elections
In a major crackdown ahead of the Delhi Legislative Assembly elections, the North-West District Police has targeted illegal liquor, drugs, unaccounted cash, and public drinking to enforce the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) and Election Commission of India (ECI) guidelines.
During routine picket checks, police apprehended six individuals and seized ₹1,50,60,000 in unaccounted cash from three separate locations. The successful operation followed credible intelligence and involved coordinated efforts between the Local Police and Static Surveillance Teams (SSTs).
In a separate operation, six bootleggers were arrested, and 1,862 quarters along with five bottles of illicit liquor were recovered. The car used for transporting the contraband, which was sourced from neighboring states, was also seized.
