The incumbent AAP, BJP, and Congress are the key contenders in the Delhi Poll 2025. AAP is seeking a third consecutive full term in Delhi. The party, which dominated the last two assembly polls, secured 62 out of 70 seats in the 2020 election, while BJP won eight seats. Congress, which ruled Delhi for 15 years, failed to win any seat in the last two polls and is predicted to perform similarly this time.

Exit poll results for the Delhi election were released on Wednesday evening, following the conclusion of voting. AAP’s Misgovernance Defamed Yamuna, BJP Will Restore Its Glory: PM Modi

On BJP's victory in #DelhiElections2025, PM Narendra Modi said, "...Delhi's very existence has flourished in the lap of Mother Yamuna. However, the people of Delhi have been heartbroken witnessing Yamuna's deteriorating state, as 'AAP-da' in Delhi has disrespected this faith. Instead of accepting their failures, they blamed the people of Haryana. During the election campaign, I pledged that we will make Yamuna ji the pride of Delhi once again. I know this is not an impossible task. No matter how much time or effort it takes, with strong determination, we will receive the blessings of Yamuna ji."

AAP Betrayed Delhi, Engaged in Corruption Instead of Change: PM Modi on BJP’s Victory

On BJP's victory in #DelhiElections2025, PM Narendra Modi said, "The leaders of 'AAP-da' entered politics promising to change it, but they turned out to be completely dishonest. Today, I heard the statement of Anna Hazare ji, who has long endured the pain of their misdeeds. He too must feel relieved today. A party born out of an anti-corruption movement became embroiled in corruption itself, with its Chief Minister and Ministers landing in jail on graft charges. Those who once certified their own honesty were exposed as corrupt. This was a massive betrayal of Delhi. The liquor scam tarnished Delhi's image, while scams in schools and hospitals hurt the poorest. Their arrogance was such that, even as the world battled COVID-19, they were busy building a 'Sheesh Mahal' (glass palace)."

NDA Means Guarantee of Development and Good Governance: PM Modi on BJP's Victory in Delhi Elections 2025

On BJP's victory in #DelhiElections2025, PM Narendra Modi stated, "Wherever the NDA has received a mandate, we have taken that state to new heights of development, which is why BJP continues to win. People are re-electing our governments for the second and third time... In the North-East, our governments have ushered in a new era of development. There was a time when Gujarat faced a severe water crisis, making farming difficult, but today, it has become an agricultural powerhouse. Recall Bihar's condition before Nitish Ji—change came only when the NDA government took charge. Similarly, Chandrababu Naidu has proven his track record in Andhra Pradesh. These examples reinforce that NDA stands for the guarantee of development and good governance."
