What Is Economic Survey ? 

The Economic Survey serves as a crucial document for assessing the country’s economic health. Published by the Ministry of Finance, it outlines the government’s perspective on financial developments, structural reforms, and future economic projections. The survey plays a vital role in shaping policy decisions, offering a roadmap for economic strategies and reforms needed to address growth barriers.

The survey is meticulously prepared by the Economic Division of the Department of Economic Affairs, working under the guidance of the Chief Economic Advisor (CEA). Once compiled, the Finance Minister presents the document in Parliament, setting the stage for informed discussions ahead of the Union Budget.
