The Economic Survey serves as a crucial document for assessing the country’s economic health. Published by the Ministry of Finance, it outlines the government’s perspective on financial developments, structural reforms, and future economic projections. The survey is meticulously prepared by the Economic Division of the Department of Economic Affairs, working under the guidance of the Chief Economic Advisor (CEA). Economic Survey 2025 highlights significant progress in rural infrastructure, particularly in drinking water and sanitation, under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) and Swachh Bharat Mission–Grameen (SBM-G).
