A tragedy was witnessed in Maharashtra’s Jalgaon district on Tuesday, as at least six people are feared dead after passengers on the Pushpak Express jumped onto the tracks in panic, only to be hit by the incoming Karnataka Express. The incident occurred at around 4:19 PM near Badnera Junction, sending shock waves across the region.

According to initial reports, passengers aboard the Pushpak Express, which was traveling from Lucknow to Mumbai, noticed sparks while the train was braking. Fearing a fire onboard, the passengers panicked and began fleeing the train, jumping onto the tracks in a frantic attempt to escape. Tragically, as they attempted to cross the tracks, they were struck by the Karnataka Express, which was traveling in the opposite direction.
