IT and BT Minister CN Aswathanarayana convened a meeting of the representatives of the CEOs of various software businesses on Wednesday at 5 p.m. to examine the issues the unseasonably heavy rain has brought about in Silicon City Bengaluru.
At this meeting, which will take place in Vidhansouda’s conference room, will be the Chief Secretary to the State Government, the Chief Commissioner of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), representatives from the Bangalore Water Authority, the Urban Development Department, and the City Police Commissioner. He has previously stated that businesspeople are free to discuss any issues they are having as a result of the rain.
He further stated that executives from firms such Infosys, Wipro, Emphasis, Nasscom, Goldman Sachs, Intel, TCS, Philips, Sonata Software, and others will be in attendance.
In the meeting, participants will talk about problems they are having. Additionally, the Chief Commissioner of the BBMP will provide a PPT on the issues facing the city.
The state administration, according to the state minister, is genuinely working to find solutions to the issues the businesses are having.
A team from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has been sent to Bengaluru to rescue individuals from a residential society that has been submerged in water as the city continues to experience severe waterlogging from heavy downpours.

Basavaraj Bommai, the chief minister of Karnataka, however, criticised the previous Congress administration in the state on Tuesday for the current condition of affairs in the city.
