The Delhi Police Special Task Force, Shahdara district, successfully apprehended Sanjeev Jain, the Managing Director and CEO of Parsvnath Landmark Developers, a subsidiary of Parsvnath Developers Pvt Ltd, at IGI Airport on August 3, 2024, following a 60-kilometer chase.

Jain, who resides at J-12/2, DLF Phase-2, Gurugram, Haryana, was arrested in connection with a non-bailable warrant issued by the Joint Registrar of the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) Delhi. The warrant was related to Execution Application No. 83 of 2022 in consumer complaint No. 2489 of 2017 (Rajat Babbar & Anr Vs. Parsvnath Developers Pvt Ltd). The non-bailable warrant had been issued on July 18, 2024, after Jain failed to appear before the Commission.
In addition to the recent warrant, Jain had four other non-bailable warrants and one bailable warrant pending against him from the National Commission. The Delhi Police’s diligent efforts led to his arrest, culminating in his production before the NCDRC on August 4, 2024.
