In a significant breakthrough, the Delhi Police Special Cell has made a major arrest just days before India’s Independence Day. Rizwan Ali, a member of an ISIS module, has been apprehended. Rizwan, a resident of Daryaganj, Delhi, was a wanted terrorist with the National Investigation Agency (NIA) having placed a bounty of Rs 3 lakh on his head.

During the arrest, the Special Cell also recovered weapons from Rizwan, adding to the gravity of the situation. Rizwan is known for his radical beliefs and activities, making his capture a critical step in preventing potential terrorist actions.

The arrest of Rizwan Ali comes as a substantial achievement for the Delhi Police Special Cell, reflecting their ongoing efforts to combat terrorism and ensure public safety in the lead-up to national celebrations.

AI-Powered Security Measures to Ensure Safety at Red Fort for Independence Day

Security agencies will be deploying artificial intelligence-based security systems with enhanced surveillance features and automated crowd estimation facilities at and around Red Fort on the upcoming Independence Day, sources said.

A document accessed by ANI reveals that CCTVs with video analytics features will be deployed at important locations at the venue. The intelligence video surveillance system will have features like a vehicle number plate recognition system, face detection, people movement counting, tripwire, audio detection, intrusion, defocus, and detection of abandoned or missing objects.

“We will also be using AI-armed cameras to count the entry and exit of people inside the premises. The estimation of the crowd will be done through AI,” an official added.
