Hoax Bomb Threats Target CRPF Schools Nationwide

Several schools run by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) across India, including locations in Delhi and Hyderabad, received hoax bomb threats late Monday night. According to sources from the news agency ANI, two bomb threats were sent to the CRPF school in Delhi, while one was directed at the CRPF school in Hyderabad. The threats were reportedly communicated through emails sent to the management teams of these schools.

Threat Emerges After Explosion in Rohini

The bomb threats came just a day after a blast occurred near a CRPF school in Rohini’s Prashant Vihar area in New Delhi on Sunday morning. While the explosion caused damage to nearby property, including shop signboards, hoardings, and the windows of vehicles parked in the vicinity, there were no reported injuries.

The Delhi Police, who are investigating the blast, have been considering potential links to Khalistani elements. They are probing whether the explosion could be connected to pro-Khalistan separatists in retaliation for alleged targeting by Indian agencies.

Telegram Channel Under Investigation

On Monday, the Delhi Police formally requested information from the messaging platform Telegram. Their focus is on a channel named “Justice League India,” which posted a video of the blast on Sunday with a “Khalistan Zindabad” watermark.

In the post, the group made a direct threat, stating, “If Indian coward agency and their master think they can hire filthy goons to target our members to silence our voice then they live in fools’ world. They can’t imagine how close we are to them and how capable we are to strike anytime #KhalistanZindabad #JLI.”

Police sources have confirmed that they are actively seeking details about the creator of this Telegram channel. A senior officer mentioned that the department has already sent a formal communication to Telegram to gather information about the individuals behind the Justice League India account.

CCTV Footage and Ongoing Investigations

In addition to analyzing the online claims, the Delhi Police are reviewing surveillance footage from the night before the explosion. They have recovered video that shows a man in a white T-shirt near the site of the blast on Saturday night, though it remains unclear whether this individual was involved in planting the bomb.

Authorities have also questioned more than two dozen people who were spotted in the area at the time of the explosion. Despite these efforts, no substantial leads have been uncovered thus far.

Heavy Foot Traffic at the Blast Site

The explosion took place in an area that is typically crowded during the evening due to the presence of several eateries located near the blast site. One officer noted that the high foot traffic may have made it easier for a suspect to blend in, complicating the investigation.
