Roy’s psychoanalytic evaluation has highlighted concerning behaviors: he has a dependency on pornography, exhibits aggressive and primal tendencies, and shows no remorse for his actions.
Roy, who worked as a civic volunteer, was apprehended on August 10, the day after the body of the victim, a doctor, was discovered in a seminar hall at the hospital where she worked. Preliminary investigations suggest that Roy had consumed alcohol before committing the crime. According to police sources, CCTV footage captured Roy entering the hospital’s emergency building at 4 a.m. on the day of the incident, wearing a Bluetooth device. About 40 minutes later, he was seen leaving, and the device was later found near the victim’s body. Analysis of the device linked it to Roy’s cellphone, establishing a direct connection to the crime.
