Mohan Yadav Announces ₹1,897 Crore Fund Transfer To Ladli Behnas Ahead Of Raksha Bandhan

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav allocated ₹1,897 crore on Saturday, with ₹1,250 in monthly aid from the Ladli Behna Yojana and ₹250 as Raksha Bandhan 'shagun' to 1.29 crore beneficiaries.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav transferred a total of ₹1,897 crore, which includes a monthly aid of ₹1,250 under the Ladli Behna Yojana and ₹250 as Raksha Bandhan ‘shagun’, to 1.29 crore beneficiaries on Saturday.

CM Yadav transferred the amount to the accounts of the beneficiaries of the Ladli Behna Yojana with a single click at a program organized in Vijaipur, Sheopur district, on Saturday. Of the total amount, over ₹1,574 crore was provided as monthly aid under the Ladli Behna Yojana, and over ₹322 crore was given as Raksha Bandhan ‘shagun’ to the beneficiaries.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development works worth ₹344 crore. Additionally, CM Yadav transferred over ₹52 crore to over 25 lakh women under the Gas Cylinder Refill Scheme, which provides LPG at ₹450 per cylinder. Over ₹332 crore was also transferred to more than 55 lakh beneficiaries under the Social Security Pension Scheme.

Before the program in Sheopur district, CM Yadav participated in a “Rakshabandhan and Shravan Utsav” event in Tikamgarh, where he distributed benefits to various scheme beneficiaries. Women from self-help groups presented a large Rakhi to CM Yadav during the event.

Addressing the program in Tikamgarh, CM Yadav highlighted the benefits being provided to farmers by both the central and state governments. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi is providing Samman Nidhi to farmers, and our government is also continuously transferring funds to the accounts of food providers. The groundbreaking ceremony for the Ken-Betwa Link Project will be held soon, which will bring water to every farmer’s field,” said CM Yadav.

The Chief Minister also announced that Tikamgarh would soon receive a medical college.
