A Hotel situated in the Santacruz area of Mumbai on Sunday afternoon was engulfed in a devastating fire incident that claimed the lives of three individuals and left two others with injuries. The Mumbai Police provided official confirmation of the distressing events, stating that the fire outbreak had occurred within the premises of the Galaxy Hotel.

Responding to the emergency, the local authorities acted swiftly, dispatching four fully equipped fire tenders to the location in order to combat the flames and bring the situation under control. The urgency of the situation was evident as these firefighting teams worked diligently to extinguish the fire, preventing further escalation of the disaster.

Dr. Jayraj from V.N. Desai Hospital provided an update on the casualties, revealing the identities of those who lost their lives due to this unfortunate incident. The victims were identified as Rupal Kanji (25 years old), Kishan (28 years old), and Kantilal Gordhan Vara (48 years old), each succumbing to the fire’s ravages. In the aftermath of the blaze, Alfa Vakhariya (19 years old) and Manjula Vakhariya (49 years old) were admitted to V.N. Desai Hospital for medical treatment, where medical professionals would undoubtedly provide the best possible care to aid in their recovery.

Despite the grim circumstances, there is a glimmer of hope. Reports indicate that the fire is now under control, signaling a successful joint effort by the firefighters to contain the flames and prevent further destruction. Amidst the chaos, six individuals were rescued successfully from the scene of the incident, by the emergency response teams.
