At least 20 passengers were trapped in an elevator at Bandra railway station for around 30 minutes today.
With the assistance of an electrician and the Station Manager, Police Constable Shaheen Pathan from Bandra Railway Police Station arrived on time to assist the passengers in exiting the elevator.
Mumbai’s Government Railway Police (GRP) tweeted, “For nearly 30 minutes, 20 people were detained in the Bandra railway station lift. P.S. Shaheen Pathan, a Bandra Railway Police Station officer, saved the trapped passengers in time with the assistance of an electrician and the station manager.”
