Ravi Shankar Prasad Addresses Press Conference On Hindenburg Report

Senior BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad held a press conference today at the party headquarters to address the recent Hindenburg Research report. Prasad used the opportunity to defend the party and respond to the report’s claims.

In his address, Prasad accused the Congress party of harboring a deep-seated animosity toward India, suggesting that their criticism of Prime Minister Modi reflects broader hostility. “The Congress has developed hatred against India by targeting PM Modi,” he said. He further alleged that the Congress party had supported a conspiracy aimed at undermining the Indian economy, stating, “The Congress backed a conspiracy to bankrupt India.”

He also expressed pride in the stability of India’s stock market, which he praised for remaining strong despite the challenges posed by the report. “I’m proud that India’s stock market is still stable,” Prasad remarked.

He quoted, “On the recent report of Hindenburg Research, BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad says, “Today we want to raise some issues. Whose investment is there in Hindenburg? Do you know this gentleman George Soros who regularly runs propaganda against India…He is the main investor there…In their pathological hatred against Narendra Modi, the Congress Party today has developed hatred against India itself. If India’s stock market gets disturbed, will the small investors be troubled or not?…In the politics of the Congress party, there is one toolkit politics, the other is chit politics. If chits are found in the exam, action is taken. But what should be done about the chits that the Congress party and its leaders get?…They want to crash the entire stock market, stop the capital investment of small investors and ensure that there should be no economic investment in India…”

Prasad took a moment to recognize the role of small investors, acknowledging their importance in maintaining market stability. “I want to praise the small investors of our country,” he added.

He pointed out that the Hindenburg report was released on Saturday, implying that its timing might have influenced its impact. “This report was released on Saturday,” Prasad noted.

Reaffirming the BJP’s commitment to addressing important issues, Prasad emphasized that the party is focused on raising significant concerns related to the report. “We want to raise important issues,” he stated.

Prasad concluded by questioning the Congress party’s motives and calling for a clearer, more constructive national conversation. “What does the Congress party want?” he asked, urging for transparency and positive engagement.

The press conference aimed to counter the allegations made by the Hindenburg report and reaffirm the BJP’s dedication to economic stability and national progress.
