Rishabh Pant accident: Southpaw’s MRI scan results normal

The findings of Rishabh Pant’s brain and spinal cord MRI came back as ‘normal,’ after the top India batter was involved in a tragic accident on his way back to Roorkee from Delhi.

On Friday, his car collided with a barrier and caught fire. According to reports, Pant has also had cosmetic surgery for face injuries, lacerated wounds, and abrasions. However, he will get an MRI on his ankle and knee on Saturday.

On the Delhi-Dehradun highway, the wicketkeeper-batter nearly avoided death as his high-end vehicle collided with a road barrier and caught fire. According to sources, he fell asleep behind the wheel.

MRI scans of his ankle and knees will be done on Saturday due to discomfort and edoema.

The medical team at Max Hospital in Dehradun also prescribed “above knee splintage” for a probable right knee ligament damage as well as a suspected right ankle ligament injury.

Earlier on Friday night, medical bulletin released by the hospital stated that Pant is stable, conscious, and oriented.
