Second Political Resolution criticizes INDIA bloc, praises BJP

During the Bharatiya Janata Party’s National Convention at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah proposed a second political resolution titled “‘BJP’ Desh Ki Aasha, Vipaksh Ki Hatasha,” focusing on the opposition’s INDIA bloc.

Presented by Amit Shah and seconded by Union Minister Arjun Munda, the seven-page political proposal accuses the Congress of being the root of instability, bitterness, cunningness, and divisive politics. It highlights the opposition’s attacks on Indian culture, disrespect towards constitutional institutions, and engagement in violence and anarchy.

The resolution condemns incidents of violence targeting BJP workers in West Bengal by the TMC and incidents in Kerala involving CPI, CPM, and their allies. It also criticizes the jungle rule established by the Rashtriya Janata Dal in Bihar and efforts to create an environment of anarchy by divisive elements.

Furthermore, the resolution questions the ideological basis of the INDIA bloc, alleging that it was formed solely to oppose Prime Minister Narendra Modi without any theoretical or ideological foundation. It points out the contradictory actions of the alliance’s parties, such as contesting against each other in elections in different states.

In conclusion, the resolution emphasizes the need to continue the struggle against negative politics and ideological similarities among the parties in the INDIA bloc, suggesting that their primary goal is to obstruct Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s agenda.
