Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Launches Special Train for Devotees Pilgrimage to Ayodhya

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurated the ‘Aastha Special Train’ on Tuesday, embarking on a momentous journey from Sambalpur to Ayodhya with around 1500 devoted passengers. Addressing the media, Pradhan expressed joy that the prolonged anticipation for devotees had finally culminated.

“The extended wait concluded on January 22, following an 11-day religious ritual that led to the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple by the Prime Minister. The enthusiasm across India is palpable, and today, devotees from Sambalpur are traveling to witness the divine presence of Ram. I am here to meet and share this moment with them, also to have the darshan of Ram Lalla,” stated Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

He described the event as a fortunate moment for the nation, emphasizing that it signifies a spiritual awakening. The special train, comprising 20 sleeper-class coaches, ensures that all necessary facilities are provided for the devotees during their pilgrimage.

A delighted devotee expressed, “I have eagerly awaited the opportunity to visit Ayodhya and witness the darshan of Ramlalla. The prospect of catching a glimpse of the Ramlalla idol is thrilling, and my dream is soon to be realized. Boarding the special train from Sambalpur to Ayodhya, we are provided with all the essential facilities, including tickets and accommodation.”

Simultaneously, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, accompanied by his cabinet ministers, embarked on a journey from the Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun to Ayodhya on Tuesday to visit the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. This marks CM Dhami’s first visit to the temple since the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Shri Ram Lalla on January 22.

Earlier on February 6, the Arunachal Pradesh Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Pema Khandu, visited the Ram temple in Ayodhya. The delegation of 70 people, including cabinet ministers, MLAs, and officials, received a guard of honour at Maharishi Valmiki Airport upon their arrival.

Excited about the visit, Chief Minister Pema Khandu stated, “I am thrilled to visit the Ram temple, which has been built after 500 years.” The pilgrimage to the sacred site continues to draw leaders and devotees alike, contributing to the spiritual significance of the nation.
