Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, also the AAP national convener, is scheduled to appear before a city court on Thursday at following the conclusion of his Enforcement Directorate (ED) custodial remand.
Informing that Kejriwal was arrested by the ED last Thursday in connection with an alleged money laundering case linked to the now-defunct Delhi excise policy.
According to the ED, Kejriwal is implicated in the entire Delhi liquor scam conspiracy, from formulating and implementing the policy to benefiting from kickbacks and using illicit funds for the 2022 Goa Assembly election campaign. The court had mandated Kejriwal’s appearance on March 28, giving the ED the option to request an extension of his remand or seek judicial custody.
The anticipation surrounding Kejriwal’s court appearance heightened after his wife, Sunita Kejriwal, hinted at a forthcoming “major revelation” regarding the alleged liquor policy scandal. Despite Kejriwal’s plea, the Delhi High Court declined to intervene in his ED arrest, adding to the ongoing developments in the case.
In a video statement on Wednesday, Sunita mentioned that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has conducted over 250 raids in search of funds related to the alleged scam but has not found anything yet. She further added that the Krjriwal will reveal today (28th March) that where is the money of the Liquor scam. He will also provide evidence for the same.

She further ended saying that Arvind Kejriwal’s body is in the remand of ED but his soul is around his people of the country.
