Following the unfortunate plane crash in Brazil’s Sao Paulo, which killed all the passengers, a man emotionally recalls the time, when he was denied entry to the plane.

Reacting to the incident, he thanked the airline staff member, who didn’t grant him entry into the plane and unintentionally saved his life.

Why The Man Missed His Flight? 

Speaking about the incident with the Brazil-based news outlet TV Globo, Adriano Assis revealed why he missed the flight.

In his interview, he explained that after arriving at the airport, he waited for his boarding call, but no announcement was made. Later, he realized there had been a mix-up, and he was actually supposed to be on the regional Voepass flight that crashed.

Once he discovered the mistake, he quickly went to the gate, but was denied entry by a staff member. At one point, he even became angry and argued with the employee. However, after learning about the crash, he expressed his gratitude, acknowledging that the staff had saved his life.

Meanwhile, Assis was not the only who got lucky, there was another passengers who due to misunderstanding, also missed his flight. Talking about the crash, the passengers also expressed gratitude for not boarding the plane.

Speaking to the outlet, the passenger said ‘Thank God we didn’t get on that plane. We didn’t know it was going to be with that company [Voe Pass], we thought it was going to be with Latam, and Latam was closed. I even arrived early [at the airport] and waited, waited and nothing.’
