Do You Know Which Country Offers the Best Opportunities for Indians to Build Multi-Generational Wealth?

According to a new index by citizenship advisory firm Henley & Partners, Switzerland emerges as the top destination worldwide for Indians looking to build multi-generational wealth. The index, which assessed nations based on six key parameters including earning potential, career advancement, employment opportunities, premium education, economic mobility, and livability, awarded Switzerland an impressive 85 percent of the total opportunity score.

Scoring a perfect 100 points for earning potential, along with 95 points for career advancement and 94 points for employment prospects, Switzerland clinched the top spot on the index. Additionally, it scored well on high livability and economic mobility, with 75 and 72 points respectively, while also receiving a commendable score of 72 on premium education.

Following closely behind Switzerland is the United States of America, scoring 82 percent on the total opportunity score. Although the US matches Switzerland in employment prospects with 94 points, it falls slightly behind in other areas, such as earning potential, career advancement, and livability.

Surprisingly, India, despite its economic prowess, lags behind on the opportunity score, scoring only 32 percent and occupying the last spot among the top 15 nations evaluated. India’s low score on economic mobility, at just 8 points, contrasts sharply with its highest score on career advancement, at 43 points.

Singapore, despite sharing a similar earning potential to Switzerland, secures the third spot on the index with a total opportunity score of 79 percent. The nation excels in employment prospects, scoring 97 points, but falls short in career advancement compared to other top-ranked countries.

Australia and Canada round out the top five positions, each scoring 75 percent and 74 percent on the total opportunity score respectively. While Australia boasts strong scores in employment prospects and career advancement, Canada stands out for its high livability and economic mobility.

Overall, Switzerland’s dominance in providing opportunities for building multi-generational wealth makes it an attractive destination for Indians and individuals worldwide seeking financial prosperity across generations.
