Noida Doctor Shares 3-Year Journey Following IIT-JEE Aspirant’s Schedule: ‘No Shortcuts’

A doctor based in Noida shared insights into his journey to success, echoing the demanding schedule of an IIT-JEE aspirant that recently went viral. Emphasizing that there are no shortcuts to achieving goals, especially in endeavors like cracking the IIT-JEE exams, the doctor highlighted the importance of discipline and focused effort.

The IIT-JEE, known for its rigorous selection process, demands strategic planning and unwavering dedication. The viral photo of a 17-year-old’s intense study schedule sparked discussions on social media about the level of commitment required for such competitive exams.

Reflecting on the viral photo, the doctor revealed that he and his brother adhered to a similar grueling routine for three years during their preparation days. Consequently, the doctor secured admission to one of the top government medical colleges, while his brother earned a spot in IIT Delhi and eventually settled in the United States.

“Me and my brother almost followed the same routine for 3 years, I got one of the best govt medical colleges and he got a good branch @ IIT Delhi, now settled in the US. Telling you there is no shortcut,” Dr. Shraddhey Katiyar shared on X. Many users resonated with his sentiment, acknowledging that relentless dedication is crucial, particularly for aspirants from modest backgrounds.

The aspirant’s schedule depicted waking up at 4:30 am daily after just 4.5 hours of sleep, followed by a day packed with revising, attending classes, and completing assignments, leaving little time for leisure activities.

Meanwhile, Kalpit Veerwal, who achieved a perfect score in the JEE Main exam in 2017, weighed in on the discussion, noting that his study routine wasn’t as rigorous as portrayed in the viral schedule.

The doctor’s testimony underscores the importance of discipline and perseverance in achieving academic excellence, resonating with the experiences of aspirants striving for success in competitive examinations.
