A sudden wall collapse at a school in Vadodara has resulted in minor injuries to a student and damage to several bicycles. The incident took place in the school’s parking area, which is reserved for students’ bicycles.
“We heard a loud voice, after which we rushed to the spot. One student sustained injuries to his head. We immediately shifted the other students to a safe place,” stated Shah, a school representative, reported that the wall fell onto the bicycle parking space, causing significant damage to multiple bicycles.
The Vadodara Fire Department swiftly responded to the incident. Upon receiving the distress call, a team was dispatched to the school to commence rescue operations.
One Class 7 student sustained minor injuries from the collapse. The student was immediately taken to a private hospital where they received primary treatment and were reported to be in stable condition.

CCTV footage from the classroom captured the moment the wall collapsed, showing several students falling with it. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported.
Speaking to news agency ANI, fire department official Vinod Mohite provided further details on the rescue efforts.”We got a call from the school regarding the wall collapse. We reached the spot. A 7th class student suffered minor injuries…10-12 bicycles of students were buried under the debris and we removed it,” he stated.
The quick response of the fire department ensured that the situation was brought under control, preventing further harm. The school administration is currently investigating the cause of the collapse to prevent any future incidents.
