An Uber driver in Delhi was heard saying, “You’re a Pakistani. Halala ki aulad ho tum log [You people are the offspring of Halala],” after ejecting passengers from his vehicle due to their alleged anti-India remarks.
The incident reportedly occurred in the middle of the night on August 9. A video of the confrontation, recorded by one of the passengers, has gone viral on social media, sparking a range of reactions. While some users praised the driver for his actions, others criticized his treatment of the passengers.
A user shared on X stating, “A Pakistani and his female friend were abusing Indians & calling them Matlabparast. The Uber driver initially told them to stop being disrespectful. He threw them both out when they crossed their limits.”
A video showing a heated argument between an Uber driver and his passengers in Delhi has gone viral. The dispute started when the driver overheard the passengers discussing their view that people in Delhi are selfish. Offended by what he saw as an insult to India, the driver became angry.
Despite the woman’s attempts to defuse the situation by explaining that their remarks were general observations about the city rather than personal criticisms, her efforts were unsuccessful.
The driver, still enraged, eventually forced the passengers out of the cab in the middle of the night, even using hateful slurs and calling them Pakistani.
Since its release on August 11, the video has garnered over five lakh views, with many people sharing their reactions in the comments.
