Legendary Portuguese football player Cristiano Ronaldo participated in Al Nassr’s AFC Champions League (ACL) match against Al Fayha on Wednesday, marking the occasion as his 1000th club match. In the current ACL, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner helped Al Nassr secure a vital three points against Al Fayha with a late goal. Ronaldo struck a right-footed shot from the center of the box to the upper right corner in the 81st minute of play. The 39-year-old has played in 1000 club games and scored 746 goals. Cristiano Ronaldo, who ended 2023 as the world’s leading goal scorer, had an incredible year.

In 2023, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner scored 54 goals for his country and his current club, Al Nassr. English striker Harry Kane stood in second place with 52 for his country and newly joined club Bayern Munich. PSG and French attacker Kylian Mbappe scored 52 goals. Meanwhile, City and Norwegian striker Erling Halaand placed 50 goals.
Ronaldo is considered one of the best footballers in the world, and he has set a few records which will be hard to break.

In January 2023, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo signed with the Saudi club Al Nassr. Since then, he has participated in 51 games and scored 45 goals for his new team. The Portuguese player has made 18 appearances and scored 20 goals for the Riyadh-based club in the current Saudi Pro League season. In the 2023–24 season, Ronaldo also contributed nine assists for Al Nassr.
