DC vs CSK IPL 2024: Toss Update, Know Who Chose What

In the match between Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals have won the toss and have opted to bat first.

The Delhi Capitals (DC) are set to take on the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam in their third match of the IPL 2024 on Sunday, March 31.

The two teams have previously locked horns on 29 occasions with the ‘Yellow Army’ emerging victorious 19 times. DC, meanwhile, have defeated CSK in 10 encounters. The teams are in contrasting forms, heading into the contest.

CSK, under the leadership of new captain Rituraj Gaikwad, defeated Royal Challengers Bengaluru and the Gujarat Titans in the first two matches. The Chennai-based franchise is functioning like a well-oiled machine. The defending champions will be hoping to pick up their third win of the season.

DC, on the other hand, lost to the Punjab Kings (PBKs) in their first match. They then suffered a defeat at the hands of the Rajasthan Royals (RR). It remains to be seen if they can score a much-needed win against their formidable foes.
