South Carolina Completes Undefeated Season with Victory over Iowa in Championship Game. Under the guidance of Coach Staley, South Carolina clinched an undefeated season, becoming the 10th Division I team to achieve this milestone. Despite losing all five starters from last year’s team, the Gamecocks prevailed, securing their third title in eight years.

With most of the team returning next year, except for standout center Kamilla Cardoso, the Gamecocks are poised to extend their remarkable run. Tessa Johnson led the team with 19 points, while Cardoso contributed 15 points and 17 rebounds.
