India initiates their Asia Cup 2023 journey against Pakistan on Saturday at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy.
In the meantime, eagerly anticipating fans are showing their unwavering backing for Team India as they await the match.

“We are all very excited. India-Pakistan matches have become interesting lately, because of the tough competition. We want India to win the Asia Cup. Pakistan’s team is also strong, but India will definitely defeat them. We expect a good match today,” cricket fans in Ranchi said.

Leading up to the highly anticipated showdown, there’s a positive development for fans regarding the match at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.

As per weather.com’s report at 9:09 AM IST, Saturday is expected to have a reduced likelihood of rain. The weather will be cloudy, but there is no indication of precipitation. Cloud cover is forecasted to be around 64%, with only a 15-19% chance of light drizzle.

A fan at Pallekele from the local area mentioned that the weather is currently sunny, and they are eagerly looking forward to the match.
“Weather is very good, weather is clear and there is 99% chance of India winning the game. We hope to see the match,” said a local resident

India’s Roster: Led by Rohit Sharma, the team includes Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, Ishan Kishan, with Hardik Pandya serving as vice-captain. The squad also features Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav, and Prasidh Krishna.

Pakistan’s Starting Eleven: Comprising Fakhar Zaman, Imam Ul Haq, Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Agha Salman, Iftikhar Ahmed, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Haris Rauf.
