India’s Swapnil Kusale secured the bronze medal in the men’s 50m rifle 3 position final at the Paris Games, finishing with a score of 451.4. This achievement brings India’s medal count to three, all of which have come from shooting events.
Day six is packed with activities for the Indian athletes, with 16 competitors participating across various sports, including archery, athletics, boxing, badminton, golf, hockey, shooting, and sailing.

The Indian men’s hockey team, already qualified for the knockouts, will face Belgium in a crucial group stage match. Shooters Sift Kaur Samra and Anjum Moudgil are competing in the Women’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions Qualification round.
In badminton, PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen will play in the round of 16 for the women’s and men’s singles events, respectively. Boxer Nikhat Zareen and archer Pravin Ramesh Jadhav are also continuing their campaigns.
Sailors Vishnu Saravanan and Nethra Kumanan will compete on the Seine, while golfers Shubhankar Sharma and Gaganjeet Bhullar will begin their events.
No additional medals were won on Wednesday, following Manu Bhaker’s historic second medal the previous day, with Sarabjot Singh also having competed.
