Star players Mohammed Siraj and Cameron Green of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) were observed diligently practicing during a net session prior to the IPL 2024 season opener against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Friday. RCB shared images from the net session on their official social media platform. Alongside pictures of Green’s net practice, RCB playfully captioned, “Alexa play Green Eyes.” In November of last year, Mumbai Indians (MI) traded their all-rounder Cameron Green to RCB. So far, Green has participated in 16 IPL matches, scoring 452 runs with a strike rate of 160.28 and claiming 6 wickets in the T20 tournament. Conversely, RCB shared a snapshot of Siraj from the practice session with the caption, “Locked and loaded for Match Day.” Siraj, the Indian pacer, made his IPL debut in the 2017 season with Sunrisers Hyderabad. Since then, he has played 79 matches, securing 78 wickets. The 17th season of the IPL is slated to commence on Friday, with defending champions Chennai facing off against Bengaluru in the Southern derby at MA Chidambaram Stadium.
