Iconic cricketer Sachin Tendulkar shared an “unforgettable experience” from his recent trip to Kashmir on Wednesday, expressing gratitude for the beauty of the land and the warmth of its people. At a press conference, Tendulkar talked about the beauty of Jammu and Kashmir and praised the hospitality of the locals who made them feel at home despite the cold weather. He also mentioned Prime Minister Modi’s encouragement to explore different parts of India, expressing his approval and interest.
Tendulkar, who visited a cricket factory during the trip, was amazed by the workmanship of the Kashmir Willow Bat, which is known worldwide for its quality. Urging people to visit Jammu and Kashmir, he called it a “precious jewel” of “incredible India” and encouraged the promotion of Indian products such as the Kashmir willow bat.
