UP Resident Lodges Complaint Against Ex-Indian Captain MS Dhoni, Here’s Why

In a shocking incident, the resident of UP’s Amethi recently registered a complaint against former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni at the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

The aggrieved Rajesh Kumar Maurya has filed a complaint with the BCCI Ethics Committee per BCCI Rule 39 over MS Dhoni.

What’s The Matter All About?

The complaint concerns a fraud case involving Rs 15 crores that Mahendra Singh Dhoni has filed against Mihir Diwakar in the Ranchi Civil Court.

Earlier, MS Dhoni filed a fraud case in the Ranchi Civil Court against Mihir Diwakar. Alongside Diwakar, Dhoni has also leveled fraud allegations against Soumya Das and Arka Sports Management Private Limited, who were engaged in business with him.

As per Dhoni,  Mihir Diwakar violated their agreement. Even after the agreement was terminated in 2021, Diwakar’s company, Aarka Sports Management Limited, continued to use Dhoni’s name.

According to Dhoni’s lawyer, Dayanand Singh, the company set up numerous academies both domestically and internationally, but Dhoni did not receive his share of the profits as agreed.

As a result, Dhoni has reportedly incurred a loss of approximately Rs 15 crore. Currently, the BCCI Ethics Committee has asked Mahendra Singh Dhoni to submit his response by August 30. Furthermore, Rajesh Kumar Maurya has also been directed to provide his response by September 16.
