Once again, Mayank showcased his blistering pace in the ongoing IPL, this time tormenting RCB with his searing deliveries clocking 156.7 kph, dismissing Rajat Patidar, Glenn Maxwell, and Cameron Green.
The 21-year-old has been instrumental in turning the tide for LSG in two consecutive matches. He consistently clocked speeds above 150kph and reached a season-high of 156.7 kph, leaving the RCB batters dumbfounded and finishing with figures of three for 14.
In his debut game against Punjab Kings (PBKS), the young sensation tilted the momentum in his team’s favor, dismissing Jonny Bairstow, Prabhsimran Singh, and Jitesh Sharma. His spell of four overs yielded figures of three for 27. Mayank has featured in two matches in the IPL 2024, earning the Player of the Match award in both games for his exceptional bowling performances.
