Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai announced a 4% increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) for government officials in the state, just ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. He praised ‘Modi Ki Guarantee’ for fulfilling promises such as procuring 21 quintals of paddy at Rs 3,100 per quintal and establishing a committee to address the demands of contractual workers.
Regarding the ‘Mahtari Bandhan Yojana’, the CM mentioned that women in the state received Rs 655 crore in their accounts on March 10, with plans to provide Rs 1,000 per month to every woman in the future.
CM Sai actively participated in a grassroots election campaign, engaging with residents and beneficiaries of central schemes in Raipur. He emphasized the importance of meeting beneficiaries nationwide and highlighted the positive feedback received for their schemes.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to work for the people and expressed optimism about taking Chhattisgarh to new heights in alignment with Prime Minister Modi’s initiatives.
