On Tuesday morning, Delhi and its neighboring National Capital Region (NCR) encountered light rain, accompanied by a drop in the minimum temperature to 15 degrees Celsius, as reported by the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The IMD further predicts a continuation of showers throughout the day. The capital is expected to have a predominantly cloudy sky with intermittent light rain or drizzle. Notably, the IMD has also forecasted light to moderate intensity rain in specific areas of Delhi, including Narela, Bawana, and Rohini, among others.
Moreover, adjoining regions of Delhi NCR, along with various parts of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan, are poised to witness rainfall in the next few hours, as stated in the IMD’s 7:30 am bulletin.
Madhya Pradesh Braces for Rainfall and Hailstorms
In Madhya Pradesh, the Meteorological Office has issued warnings of impending rainfall and hailstorms in specific areas over the coming days. These weather phenomena are attributed to various weather patterns, including a trough line and an active Western Disturbance. Districts such as Anuppur, Shahdol, and Jabalpur are expected to experience thunderstorms and, in some instances, hailstorms.
Meteorologist Highlights Potential Weather Events
Meteorologist Parmendra Kumar from IMD Bhopal emphasized the likelihood of rain and thunderstorms in districts such as Narmadapuram, Betul, Harda, and Khandwa. Additionally, he provided insights into the temperature range observed in the state capital, Bhopal, with the minimum temperature recorded at 12.4 degrees Celsius and the maximum at 27.6 degrees Celsius.
