West Bengal is in the ruckus of political backlashes and amid this today (March 3rd) Bhartiya Janata Party MP Dilip Ghosh pointed to the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee her party members over the violence in Sandeshkhali. He claimed that the ruling party in Bengal is destroying the state.
Dilip Ghosh continued to criticize the TMC government regarding the Sandeshkhali violence, asserting that troublemakers are shielded under the TMC’s banner. He claimed that the primary accused, Sheikh Shahjahan, was apprehended solely due to pressure exerted by the opposition and media.
He stated that there are goons and rapists in every corner of the state, shielded by the TMC. He mentioned that a criminal and rapist had been protected by the TMC for two months. He noted that under pressure from their protests and the media, the state police were compelled to arrest him, leading to his subsequent suspension from the party. He concluded that the TMC has caused great harm to Bengal.
According to ANI, MP Dilip Ghosh made a controversial statement suggesting that if Prime Minister Narendra Modi could resolve the Kashmir issue, he could swiftly resolve the unrest in Bengal as well. He asserted that individuals in Bengal had been subjected to looting, including property and women’s dignity. Ghosh emphasized that if PM Modi could pacify the situation in Kashmir, he could do the same for Bengal in a mere two minutes.
