No Girl Ready To Marry Bangalore’s IT Employee Amid Water Crisis

Amid the plunging water crisis in Bengaluru, due to less rainfall has led to over 3,000 borewells drying up impacting large apartments, gates communities, government and private schools, fire brigade, hotels, restaurants, etc. Because of the differences in water supply and demand, residents are now the victim of water scarcity.

But the situation is worsening as the girls are rejecting marriage proposals from the Bangalore techies. Yes!

Amidst the Bengaluru Water Shortage Crisis, a resident shared a story highlighting the challenges faced by his IT friend in finding a spouse. According to the post, potential brides are hesitant to marry individuals residing in a city grappling with severe water scarcity. The post has gained significant traction on social media platforms.

In a recent viral post on X, a page called BCA addressed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, urging him to address the ongoing water crisis in Bengaluru. The plea stemmed from the predicament faced by the poster’s friend, an IT professional in Bengaluru struggling to find a partner due to the water scarcity issue. The post emphasized the urgency of finding a solution to this pressing concern. This plea was prompted by the growing chorus among tech workers advocating for Work From Home (WFH) arrangements as a means to alleviate pressure on Bengaluru’s water resources and contribute to water conservation efforts.

The ongoing water scarcity in Bengaluru, often referred to as the Silicon City of India, has affected individuals across various sectors, including IT professionals and even high-ranking officials such as the Chief Minister of Karnataka.

Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar, who also serves as the Bengaluru Development Minister, recently shared his personal experience, highlighting the severity of the water crisis in the city. He lamented that the situation has not spared him either, revealing that all the borewells in his residence, like many others across the city, have dried up.
